Starting my own business 6 years ago was one of the best things I have ever done, but the lack of time that it left me after my children and husband did not amount to anytime for myself. I figured out for every year I was in business I would gain 5 pounds each year totaling 25-30 extra pounds. When my friend approached me about working out with a trainer, I told her I don’t like to pay someone for something I know how to do, I was so wrong.
We both started training with Rich in September, three times a week. After a month she had to stop due to a medical issue, and I was at a crossroads. Do I keep training without her? Was I really seeing the results? Well I had learned something over the 30 days, there is no way I would ever push myself the way Rich pushes me! So I committed that I was going to continue with this for myself. We also began to work on my eating habits; I eat so much healthier now than I ever have. In March I surpassed my weight loss goal by 10 pounds and was back in a size 6. I also have turned 40 and bought my first bikini since I had children.
I love my Rich’s no nonsense approach to improving my body and he manages to keep it fun and interesting. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about starting a workout program where results are inevitable.

As a birthday gift to myself I decided to hire a Personal Trainer. Never being a fan of exercise, I knew that I would need a determined leader to captain the mission of changing my habits and reshaping my body.
The first task for Rich was convincing me to train 3 times a week, including Fridays after work. While I wanted to get in shape and get healthy I didn’t want to give up my Friday happy hours! The most important thing he stressed was that training alone wasn’t going to get me to reach my goal. If I was going to succeed I needed to be committed to changing my habits: eating better, consistently exercising including cardio and weight training and, yes, giving up my happy hours.
Once I got into a routine, it was easy to stay on track. Pretty soon my friends and family knew that my schedule included daily workouts and that my Friday “happy hour” would be spent at the gym.
I’ve now lost 15 pounds, 9.5 inches, and 8% body fat. I’m proud to say that with Rich’s support and participation I completed my first 5k run. Through it all, he has been my biggest champion, always encouraging and supporting me. With my Rich’s help, I have changed my habits, reshaped my body and redefined the meaning of happy hour and I feel Awesome!

I had previously worked out for several years prior to 2008, but after
being involved in a motorcycle accident in 2001, I let my routine slip and
that was all it took for me to stop. I tried getting back in to my routine
several times, but it never lasted more than a few months. I knew I’d have
to do something different if I was going to get back to where I was and even
go further than I had before.
When I first started, Rich asked me what my goals were. I told him I wanted
to gain muscle and mass. I’ve now been training with him for eight months
and I’ve gained 12 Pounds and lost 8% Body Fat! Like a lot of
people, I find it hard to push myself without the help of someone right
there with me. Having a trainer allows me to do more with my body than I
feel like I really can when I’m working out alone. I would certainly
recommend working with Rich if you feel like you can’t reach your
goals or go any further than you have.
Thank you!

I have always enjoyed doing cardio workouts and was nearing my goal weight in January of last year. After seeing the
great fitness results my friend achieved after having her second child, I decided it was time to tackle weight training.
In February 2008, I decided to start with Rich. As the weeks passed I started seeing the positive results of the training. Not only was my overall body tone improving, I was stronger and more energized. For the first time, I have muscle definition.
Weight loss was never my goal, improving my health and fitness level was. The overall tone of my body has changed significantly. I lost 7 Pounds, 6% Body Fat, and a total of 7 Inches. Thanks to my trainer, I have been given the tools and knowledge to have a balanced workout routine. Not only have I been able to reshape my body, I’ve learned how to incorporate strength training in my fitness routine.

Words can not begin to express the gratitude I feel towards Rich. I had two back-to-back pregnancies and was overwhelmed with the task of trying to get back in shape. As obligations to my children, husband and job took over, I placed my desire to get back in shape as the bottom of my priority list, always saying, “There’s just too much to be done, I don’t have time.” After the birth of my 2nd child, I made a decision to make getting back in shape a priority equal to everything else in my life. I wanted to be back in my “skinny jeans!”
Upon my first consultation, I was pleasantly surprised. He was kind and listened to what my goals were and what
obstacles I was faced with. Together, we put a realistic plan in motion to help me meet my goals. Although I was skeptical of personal training, I am now convinced it is the way to go. You can accomplish your goals even while being a busy mom and wife. Rich helped me every step of the way!In 3 short months, I Lost 20 lbs, 19.25 inches and 9% Body Fat!

I started training with Rich in January 2009 after the recommendation from one of his clients. I was hesitant at first, but I am so glad I changed my mind. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. In five short months, training 1-2x a week, I have made more progress than I ever thought possible.
My endurance and training ability has skyrocketed! I now run a 5k almost 10 minutes faster than I had in the past. I have so much energy not only in the gym, but outside too. My two young boys now have a hard time keeping up with their mommy. In the past, I had done cardio, but very little strength training, due to the intimidation factor of using the equipment in the gym. I’m proud to say I can now not only use the equipment proudly, but I’m also sharing this knowledge with my husband too. Plus, I love the muscle definition I’ve gained and continue to gain through my sessions. My core region has also become so much stronger too. When I started, I could only do a prone for 15 seconds, now I’m asking for more when we get to 1 minute. Lastly, I’m so excited to say, I can finally do guy push-ups!!
I am so thankful I changed my mind and spent the money for Rich. He’s flexible, knowledgeable and makes training so much fun. I’ll be training for a long time…I’m hooked.
Thank you!

I’ve never been a fan of lifting. It’s repetitive and boring and I get into the rut of doing the same exercises over and over because I’m afraid of hurting myself. I had no problem committing to a cardio routine—but weights were a different story. I knew that if I wanted to take my workout to the next level and stick with it, I was going to need help. I needed someone to get me motivated and keep me focused.
I started with a Rich because I needed the structure of an appointment to keep me committed to showing up at the gym to do something I dreaded. After a month, when I stopped being sore, I actually looked forward to training. We never did the same routine twice. He came up with new exercises that challenged me and kept things interesting.
Rich also encouraged me to try new things—like spinning—and helped build my confidence so I wouldn’t be intimidated working outside my comfort zone. I’m not a big fan of trying new things I think might be difficult, but he gave me the kick I needed!
One on one training with Rich has been a good fit for me. He’s conscientious and committed to helping me succeed. He knows just when to push me a little harder. I’m very happy with my personal trainer—and more importantly—finally happy with myself! Thank you.

I have never felt better in my life! I am so glad I discovered this thing called “exercise”. I only wish I had discovered it sooner. Exercise is now a big part of my life! I can actually say I enjoy it! I am healthier, thinner and feel so much better!
When I first started, I had just had a baby 6 months prior and I was in desperate need of a “lifestyle” change. I needed to lose weight-I needed to re-group and have some kind of plan! I always had a fairly decent metabolism, but getting older and having kids my whole life—LOL—I have a 19, 4 and 2 year old—my husband likes to say we started early and ended late took a toll on my weight—plus I had never really truly exercised, short of doing your every day normal walking or the occasional swimming or bike ride.
I was introduced to Rich by a friend and I was on my way to seizing back my body and starting a new life, embracing exercise and actually enjoying it! He was very motivating and never made each workout the same and provided nutritional guidance as well. I can now say I am addicted to exercise, I have now lost 22lbs and wearing a size 2! Thanks to Rich for starting me on a great path to fitness for life and believing in me that I would see results.
